The “Meteorological Calendar”

which is published by the German Meteorological Society (DMG), aims to accompany you through the year with impressive photographs of meteorological phenomena. This bilingual calendar sets itself clearly apart from the usual photo calendars: the images on the front sides of the calendar pages are explained in scientific but readily understandable terms and a diverse range of scientific topics on the reverse sides are presented with texts and illustrations. The calendar therefore accords with the German Meteorological Society’s specific aim to promote interest in atmospheric processes and to disseminate knowledge about meteorology.
