Wall Calendar:  13 impressive photographs (42 x 29 cm) of meteorological phenomena

Texts in German and English as well as illustrations on the reverse sides on the subject of  Weather, Climate and Volcanoes.

You will find both general overviews as well as texts dealing with specific aspects. Examples of these include the emissions injected into the stratosphere by the Mount Pinatubo volcano (Philippines) or the effects of major volcanic eruptions such as Tambora (Indonesia) in 1815 with the following “Year Without a Summer” in Europe. We invite you to join us on a journey into the world of old weather records and modern satellite data. Volcanoes, volcanic eruptions and related optical phenomena have always had an influence on contemporary painting and literature. Some examples are presented here.
